Excellent idea, and congrats to RM Mottola for coming up with the concept. The program seems to work well, however, when I tried exporting a dred outline (.dxf file) and importing it into CorelDraw X4, all I get is a bunch of objects that are 0" x 0". This could be a CorelDraw X4 issue, of course, but I have imported .dxf files into it with success before. Anyone had more luck than me using a .dxf file export from the program? Cheers, Dave F. |

Very cool, does anyone know what numbers to punch in for an OM? Could you possibly take the file somewhere to get printed out full size? |

Thanks for bringing it to our attention. I haven't visited that site for awhile except for the saggita table and didn't know it was there. I 'll have to read the artical in AL#97 too. I guess I should go over the site and see if there is anything else new there. ![]() |

I was able to export a .DXF file from G-Thang and then import it into Sketchup (free download from google). I used it to design a Baby Drednaught while playing around (shaped like a drednaught but sized like an OM). This is the result: ![]() |

Here is what I came up with, roughly the same size as an OM. In regards to soundhole placement isnt it rather important? I have mine about 4 inches back from the top, sound right? |
